Clinic Administration Tools

The Administration menu contains Clinic Administrator tools to manage and maintain the integrity of patient records. The following items are available in the Administration menu:

Export CCDs: export Continuity of Care Documents in C‑CDAClosed Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture, a document format that enables a patient’s clinical data to be transmitted from one Health IT system to another format for all patients or a selection of patients

Merge Duplicate Charts: combine clinical data from duplicate patient charts into one chart

Message Digest Tool: create a hash value for a patient data file to verify its integrity

Move Encounter: move imported documents, e-Labs, or letters from one patient's chart to another

Reset Lock: reinstate access to a patient's locked encounter or referral
