Machine-specific is used to configure settings for the computer on which Sevocity is installed. These settings do not apply to an individual user or to the CLINIC user.

Image Import Path: used to specify a default directory or folder when importing files using Imported Documents or Image/File Import

Default Export Path: used to specify a default directory or folder for data exported using the chart Export tool

Direct Print Printer: used to specify the default printer when printing from Sevocity

Java Max Heap: used by Sevocity Support to troubleshoot certain memory-related issues. The default value is 512 MB

Display DPI: used to adjust the monitor display resolution (sharpness). The default value is 96 dpi

Webcam: used to specify a webcam source and default image capture size. This setting is only available for Windows OS users

Scanning: settings for scanning in Imported Documents and Image/File Import

  • Direct Scan Source: displays the default scanner used for direct scanning. This setting is only available for Windows OS users

  • Local Folder Scanning Path: used to specify the default folder for local folder scanning

  • Default Scan Workflow: used to specify the preferred scanning workflow. This setting is only available for Windows OS users

Quest Labels (DYMO Printer Required): displays for customers with a Quest bi-directional interface

  • Direct Print Printer: used to specify the default printer when printing labels

  • Default number per test: used to specify the number of labels that will print per test

DYMO Compatibility for Quest Lab Labels: Sevocity supports printing Quest lab labels on 1-1/8" x 3-1/2" labels using the following DYMO models:

  • LabelWriter 5XL

  • LabelWriter 550

  • LabelWriter 550 Turbo

  • LabelWriter 4XL

  • LabelWriter 450

  • LabelWriter Wireless

  • LabelWriter 450 Duo

  • LabelWriter 450 Turbo

  • LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo

  • LabelWriter Desktop Mailing Solution
